State of Bankruptcy Marketing 2026
Thursday April 9, 2026 3:00pm - 4:00pm EDT
What’s changing, what’s breaking, and where the real opportunities are for consumer bankruptcy attorneys going forward.
Every attorney who attends in person and registers will receive five free, qualified leads.
Each lead will meet ALL of the following criteria:
  1. The individual has explicitly requested to speak with a bankruptcy attorney
  2. They have at least $8,000 in dischargeable debt
  3. They earn a minimum of $1,800 per month in income
  4. They will be live-transferred directly to you (not a form fill, not a callback list)
Attendance and registration is required to receive the leads.
And the goal is simple: leave the room with insight, clarity, and clients.  This once session could pay for your NACBA Convention Trip.

Human in the Loop: Ethical AI for End-to-End Bankruptcy Case Management
Thursday April 9, 2026 4:00pm - 5:00pm EDT
AI is increasingly capable of handling the “grunt work” of bankruptcy cases, but it should never replace professional judgment. In this session, we’ll examine how AI can responsibly support bankruptcy workflows from intake through filing, noticing, and calendaring, while keeping humans firmly in control. We’ll cover best practices for review, validation, and risk management, and explain why the future of bankruptcy practice is not AI or humans, but AI with human oversight.

Lunch Session: Life Settlements & Bankruptcy: Unlocking Hidden Value in Life Insurance
Saturday April 11, 2026 11:30am - 12:30pm EDT
In today’s environment of rising interest rates, ongoing premium burdens, and evolving tax considerations following recent legislative developments, life insurance policies are increasingly overlooked assets in bankruptcy matters. Too often, policies are surrendered or allowed to lapse without a full evaluation of their potential value in the life settlement market.
This program is designed to provide an overview of the life settlement market, specifically for consumer bankruptcy attorneys, and focuses on how life settlements can serve as a strategic tool in maximizing value for consumer bankruptcy debtors. Attendees will gain a practical understanding of when and how to evaluate life insurance policies within the bankruptcy process, including key legal and fiduciary considerations, valuation dynamics, and relevant tax implications.
The session will also highlight the importance of regular policy reviews as a best practice, helping attorneys identify overlooked assets, mitigate risk, and improve outcomes in bankruptcy proceedings while better serving their clients.
