Mr. Luxman received his B.S. from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1993 and his J.D. from The University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 2001. He has been a member of the Tennessee State Bar and has been admitted to practice in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Tennessee since 2001. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Luxman worked in Nashville, Tennessee from 1994 to 1998 as a loan officer and branch manager for a large regional bank headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. Mr. Luxman’s first job out of law school was as a creditor’s attorney with a large collections firm in Memphis, Tennessee. After “leaving the dark side” (Star Wars reference), Mr. Luxman started his consumer bankruptcy practice as a one-man shop on August 12, 2002. Now, 23 years later in 2025, Luxman Law Firm is a full-service consumer bankruptcy firm handling Chapter 7 and 13 cases as well as small business Subchapter V Chapter 11 cases. The firm consists of founding attorney Bo Luxman and Office Manager and Bankruptcy Paralegal Samantha Musso (She’s here at the conference in L.
